Boot Camp - July 2010
Sharon reports back on another successful Boot Camp:
  What a week it was. The final day was amazing. Watching groups of student all working on different projects related to photography, creative hair and wig making. As an educator I felt so thrilled and satisfied with what everyone left with. I believe all the questions were answered and more.
A huge thank you to Doreen and Paula, my wonderful assistants, who supported me and gave so much knowledge to the students throughout the weekend. You’re my shining stars!!
Hair Expo Recap - June 2010
 What a huge, exciting and successful weekend. From setting up the stand, to live demonstrations, to shows and seminars, to winning an award - it was a top weekend filled with great hair.

Sharon wins again at Hair Expo - June 2010
Its been proven again for the second year in a row - Sharon Blain is Australia’s top educator, taking home the Educator of the Year award. Her training concepts and outstanding commitment have proven outcomes in growing the skill level and motivation to her students and peers.
Sharon wins prestigious award at Hair Expo 2009! - June 09
Sharon was honoured recently by winning the Excellence in Hairdressing Education/Individual title at Australia's leading industry event - Hair Expo Australia 2009. Sharon is now the top educator (who doesn't work exclusively for a product company) within the industry in Australia, running her own education program specialising in Long Hair Styling.
Sharon said "being awarded the Excellence in Hairdressing Education award at the Hair Expo 2009 dinner was the greatest honour for me as I have been educating others for most of my life and receiving this acknowledges the importance of long hair styling as a craft and a skill - in much the same way others have won it for educating in colour or cutting".

2009 Schwarzkopf Hair Expo Awards - March 09
Sharon Blain was awarded finalist in the 2009 Schwarzkopf Hair Expo Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Excellence in Hairdressing Education (Individual Category) and Best Photographic Collection.
 Her Renaissance collection was inspired by the Elizabethan era - strong, bold shapes and hairlines which maintain a sexy feminine character.
